Construction management case study
Developed construction programmes and project-control records using MS Project and Excel. Connected activity sequencing, quantities and material requirements with progress review, site coordination and quality-record tracking.
Site activities, dependencies, quantities and material requirements needed a consistent basis for planning and progress review.
I developed construction programmes and project-control records using MS Project and Excel, connecting activity sequencing with quantity, material and quality tracking.
Gantt charts and Excel records form the planning and control output presented in the portfolio.
Selected evidence
Programme and quantity excerpts from my supplied portfolio, followed by selected management-control examples. Each example retains its own project context.
Source drawings and record excerpts are identified separately from portfolio summaries and presentation visuals. Presentation visuals explain the project setting, including reference-based or presentation views; they are not original site or approval records.

Activities, WBS levels, dates and linked Gantt bars show the programme structure used for sequencing review.
My role: I use programme logic and activity dependencies alongside quantities to coordinate procurement, technical information and site priorities.

The excerpt groups measured work and material quantities, including excavation, reinforcement and concrete.
My role: I review measured quantities against material requirements and programme priorities to support procurement coordination.

The complementary excerpt covers floor, roof, wall, insulation and finishing quantities.
My role: I connect quantities and timing so follow-on activities can be reviewed together with material demand.

My role: I coordinated the MEP and structural designers’ response, reviewed access, sequence and procurement implications, and followed the approved revision through site verification.

V-017: access panels and duct offsets, USD 24,000, two working days within available float. V-021: tenant counter layout, USD 18,500, no critical-path impact.
My role: I linked technical queries, pricing and programme review before approved changes proceeded to installation. Approval remained with authorised decision-makers.
Portfolio p. 07 · Selected commercial change decisions
The selected quality record reports 280 of 286 items closed at handover (97.9%), with the remaining six closed within 14 days. The handover information families include as-built drawings, test records, warranties and O&M information.
My role: My documented delivery work connects workmanship checks, assigned actions and close-out follow-up with the information needed for handover.
