My role & scope

Construction Project Manager for delivery workstreams on a steel-frame office and commercial building with 10 offices and 36 parking spaces, October 2019–August 2022.

The challenge

Groundwater conditions created an early-works interface between the structural engineer, water authority and site team. Technical coordination had to inform the sequence of subsequent construction activities.

My actions & decisions

I connected the structural engineer, water authority and site team around groundwater-related requirements and construction sequencing, while managing the building’s delivery workstreams.

Result & delivery record

The project record follows foundation works and exterior construction through to completed office spaces. It demonstrates coordination of early technical constraints with the subsequent construction sequence.

The selected 18-month delivery record reports four direct reports, eight subcontractors and 35 peak operatives. Revised package budget: USD 8.45m; final package cost: USD 8.39m; USD 60k below the revised budget.

My role: I integrated the specialist-reviewed early-works solution into planning and contractor sequencing, alongside progress reporting and design-change review.
